2016

2016Solar YYC is founded

Alex Tyndale starts SolarYYC with a staff of 1 (himself) and works hard to land their first client.

2017First Installation

Staff grows to 4. First official Solar YYC system is installed.

2022

April 2022100th Install

Solar YYC moves into 6,000 sq. ft warehouse. Complete our 100th install in August 2022, move up to a staff of 25. Partnered with iCan for Kids.

2024Record Year

Expanded into a second office/warehouse. 1500+ installs. Staff grows to 73. 715 completed projects in one year. Ranked #1 for completed permits in Calgary.

Got a reasonable quote for solar to cover all our household usage. Their estimate also included all kinds of technical info and estimates of how much you’ll generate each month.
